Benefits technology for education

  As far as globalization goes it never go without the technology. The development of technology made thing easier for human to do their activities, and it is not an exception for education. In 1937, the American sociologist Bain define technology as all tools, machines, utensils, weapons, instruments, housing, clothing, communicating and transporting devices and the skills by which we produce and use them. Technology in education itself has many function for both teacher and student. For the teacher technology help them to widen the range of media used for teaching. As for student technology when used in classrooms can be used as a productive tool for students as they do work on their assignments or tasks. And technology can also help both of them to search for study materials. There are also social reasons why technology is understood as a relevant and important tool in education. The changes within society are not only evident for teacher but also for the public. And as schools depend to a certain extent on the public’s perception of it, they recognize the potential for growth. The public perceives that a good school is a school that has technology. We have yet to know how far technology will lead us in the future with so many benefits technologies have given to us. And as technology evolves, so will schools to ensure that teachers continually work to prepare students for their future in society
